Promoted to Associate Director in May 2005 and to Division Director in May 2006.

Worked primarily on private merger and acquisition transactions and general corporate and commercial matters (including a secondment to Telstra Corporation Limited) with rotations in commercial litigation, banking and finance and intellectual property and communications.

Davin has a breadth of experience in private legal practice in both Australia and internationally as well as in-house experience with a leading financial services organisation. He has experience supporting a geographically-dispersed client base and has worked on a wide variety of derivative transactions, financial products and complex financing transactions in and across various jurisdictions including Australia,
New Zealand, Asia, Canada, South Africa, South America, Europe and the Middle East. Davin’s experience in the structuring (translating ideas and concepts into transactions capable of execution and products capable of offer) of transactions and financial products is invaluable to both issuers and investors alike. Davin applies his extensive legal knowledge in an appropriately commercial and pragmatic manner, providing solutions in a way that recognises the underlying legal risks and deals with them appropriately.
